“My first TDL was in 2012, I did the 38 mile route. I’ve completed the Metric Century version as a jersey rider every year since then. In addition to it being an opportunity to raise money for a great cause, it’s been an event I prep for, look forward to and enjoy every year.”

Jamie Pawelek

“I’ve ridden in the TDL twice now, doing the metric century (62 mile) route both times. The first ride in 2014 as a normal rider, and most recently in 2016 as a jersey rider. There are a lot of good things to say about this annual ride – The organization, support, and camaraderie of the group are wonderful. The crisp autumn air, beautiful colors, and scenic routes are a feast for the senses. On this last ride we even rode through Hell and had photos with the “devil” – which was pretty cool! The best part of all this is that it’s a great opportunity to help needy folks in the local communities through United Way.”

Bob Rossi

“This will be my 4th year doing the TDL & the 62 mile loops. Our first one was to Ann Arbor. Last year 2016 did the 100 mile loop!!!!” I guess other than being with friends the coolest thing was we were able to ride in the GM proving grounds last year & I ride around GM all the time! Oh and met the devil in Hell!!! It’s been a great event every year and put together really well.”
